I just had a man with an Irish accent knock the door and try to sell me genuine stihl chainsaws .When I asked him well who told you I would want those he said a man down the pub LOL well it has to be said they are getting worse they must of spotted the signs on my truck and thought we will go suss that one out there.

Funny thing is earlier this week my back gate had been opened but my Dogs were there and who ever opened the gate must of legged it when the dogs came out the house as the gate was left wide open now if they are stupid enough to try and do my place over then they can give it their best shot but I wont be letting go once my dog holds them I would make sure my dog holds them until the police got there would you really step into a yard with a dog thats the son of this? I am pretty sure now it must of been them as they were trying to suss out wether it was us or the neighbours who had the chainsaws and I didnt say because the moron asked when he got to the door is the lad with the chainsaws here ?do I look like a lad?ladette maybe but no lad so my reply was no so he tried with the well is it next door I said I dont think its anything to do with you his response was I have new stihl chainsaws I want to sell would the lad be interested in buying any so I replied the lad wouldnt want to buy any that much im sure of and I dont want to buy any.. I think I was probably quiet hostile in the fact that I couldnt believe he had the cheek to knock the door .I am sure they will be back

If they do come back and you sic the dog on them Sasha, please make sure you record their discomfort and pain of learning the error of their ways at the jaws of your hound. :sneaky2:

Then post your video here so that the discerning members of this forum may share the smug satisfaction that sometimes "these types" do receive the righteous summary justice that so many richly deserve and so few ever receive. :thumbup1:

Yeah ok. So not so much want to face that dog on a bad day....

There was one going about where they would mark houses with markers that had dogs for dog napping. Either paints or stickers on gates or paths.

Also heard about one where if you had dogs and they wanted to break in they would throw rancid laced meat over the fence and just wait a couple of days, then chances are that the dog would be ill and couldn't do anything allowing them to break in. To sure how true this one is tho. Only heard it once.

Im pretty sensible really wouldnt want my dog sinking its teeth into anyone although im pretty sure with the two of them roaming they would certainly hold anyone until they were told to back down and oh yes the bushnell would definatly be on it so if that does happen will upload it !.I have rung it in and have also found they have been knocking a few other doors locally through a community facebook page .

I am not sure if its just coincidence im in this trade it could be and they saw my truck and thought it has to be one of these houses or it could of been more calculated with the incident of the gate being opened earlier this week they may of followed me back from work as I did have a load of them pull up on a road I was working on earlier this week with their tarmac lorry and another one alongside full of whacker plates etc they seen me using my tools then in my customers garden but im sure I would of noticed if a lorry had followed me .

They would have to break into my actual house before they could take anything as my shed is full of nothing but bikes and gardening stuff for my garden plus its alarmed and the house is also locked up internally from beyond where the dogs use .

I would be one very angry lady if they even so much of poisened my dogs but as you say I have heard rumours of things like this happening and them using a bitch to attract a dog etc. They could of been just plain stupid people maybe the attempt with the gate earlier this week the dogs were unexpected as they were in part of the house cooling off so nowhere to be seen and quiet until they obviously ran out hence why the gate was left wide open I think if I had seen my two come tearing towards me I would run as well if they were not my dogs.

The police said they are up to one or two things either just out to sell counterfit goods or to come back and rob us so have told the whole street as the police said it was avery distinctive truck and I must say I have not seen any like it around here so I know when I spot it next I will recognise it straight away.I still cant get over the fact the cheeky so and so knocked my door and the rubbish that came flowing out of his mouth so naturally I can see why people get taken in by them

Will be checking for stickers and paints also now in a minute I have heard that one circulating a few times too when he knocked the door the dogs didnt bark as were chilling outside and I answered straight away so if it was unrelated to the gate incident earlier this week then they may not know the dogs are here even

Our next door neighbour was in the bath yesterday morning. A lad knocked on the door and on getting no reply went around the back and attempted to break in. Our neighbour came downstairs and disturbed him, so he fled up the road.

He actually went to the rear of the house whilst being watched by another neighbour, opposite who was gardening at the front of her house. All this occurred ten minutes after we had left with our three rotties and noisy cocker. I widh we'd been a little later going out:cursing::cursing:
