Hi all, i have a hydraulic 3 point linkage splitter and was thinking about mounting it to the front og my U900. I dont have front linkages, has anyone made up or can suggest a good way of mounting the splitter?

remember that the 900's hyd pump is belt driven and only gives out about 150 bar where as most tractors and bigger mogs run at 210 bar (i think) this might mean that your spliter has a fair bit less power.

I only found this out when i fitted a crane on my trailer. iv now fitted pto pump and tank. think i lost atleast a third of the power with the lack of pressure. pto pump has a higher flow rate than mog too.

do you need to mount your splitter. ie do you need to take it to site often or could you just have it free standing. might be easyer to just fit legs on it.

if you do mount it remember bits fly off it as you split them so might be best to have a plate to protect your head lights etc

just a few ideas for u

All mog hyd pumps are belt driven, my U1600 has two belts, and as you say 210 bar.

Ran a hiab 071 really well.

yep dave your right my 1250 has two drive belts too but the 900s only have 1 and they cant get enough power threw just 1 belt
