Plus, people say they can't justify have a processor, I can't see how people can justify a chainsaw and axe!

A processor with out some sort of log deck is half a machine. With two of us we used to get 14 cubic metres out in about 7 hrs including lunch, breathing, rehydrating, cleaning up, sharpening and screwing the never ending list of bits that fall off a processor.

I use a palax combi . In an 8hr day I can do 30 cube bags with someone feeding me ( not bacon butties ) no log deck and in a muddy field mostly small stuff

In contrast we also filled 50 vented dumpy bags on concrete , filling 3 at a time on extende pallet forks , an hour for dinner , starting at 8.30 and a 4.30 finish

If you have a log deck and the optimum size timber you should exeed this .

Depending how hard you work

You have to remember this machine is very physical to use . most other machines have infeed conveyours this can slow the process down

Another variable will the log lengths. Less cuts less time.

Good point , I suppose type of timber also oak is harder to cut and split compared to ash or sycamore , and wet or dry ?

hi i have the farmi wp 36 and filled 37 builder bags yesterday started at 8am finshed at 4 pm

If I sort the timber into different sizes and pick the 8-10" straight stuff I can do 6 cu metres in one hour. But not for 8 hours. If you buy your timber from a dealer they tend to keep the nice stuff and send the 3" sticks and 24" monster butts its this that brings it down to 2 cu an hour. If you harvest the timber you can keep the good stuff and send the bent knotty rubbish to your competition down the road.

my processor is over 5 yrs old now its had 3 sets of alloy guides 2 sets of belts an infeed belt and a blade sharpen each year, never had anything fall off it the first failed part was 2 weeks ago when one of the hydraulic motors started leaking on the conveyor.

I would like to know what lengths your all cutting to
