Blackthorn injury

just reduced a 70ft long black thorn hedge by 5ft... i felt like a bloody pin cushion....

then the customer comes out and says (wow theres so much light in the garden now.. can you take the whole thing out please):scared1::scared1:

 

of course love but the price will be double...

why the hell couldnt she of asked me in the first place.....:confused1:

Go to a chemist, they can give you a paste that draws splinters etc out think its called magnesium oxide but check at chemist. I keep teetree oil on thorns, makes the skin soft to help it out, and disinfects. if you get pain/redness up arm go to health services,as rarely you can get a blood infection.

Had one go into the top joint of my index finger, wife and nurse both tried to dig it out and couldn't so after an xray it was decided to see what happens. Three weeks later a load of smelly puss was squeezed out and the thorn was 15mm long and stopped the joint from bending. The relief was almost orgasmic when it came out!!!
