Bush fires are terrible and the way these men and women brave their lives too save us and our property is unreal heroism. So much respect and thoughts to the friends and families. Horrible news.

I really feel sorry for the loss of the Fire Fighters in AZ. Sometimes these fires are created by nature and occure naturally. Still other times due to Government Stupidity while attempting to save certain species of animal or the like Vast Tracks of wooded area are not allowed to be cleared and replanted. The end results are stores like the 19 Men who lost their lives under impossible conditions. IMHO with proper Forrestry Management in play most if not nearly all fires like this could and would be prevented.

The tools and technology are available to stem such destruction on a massive scale,

Once again Government and certain Enviromentalist Wackos Groups Carry the day. Common sence need not apply, especially for all the folks that lost their homes surrounded by dead and dieing old forrest timber. O and by the way the arsonist that are caught and tried for these crimes deserve no jail time, just excution. Rant over.

I met hotshot & smoke jumpers in the US. They were serious professionals & this is such a tragic loss of the people who are willing to put themselves on the line, to save & help others
