never heard of it channel 5 cowboy builders spring to mind. say you want the saw back working with a new bar and chain. and that the saw was perfect when he fitted the wrong chain for bar. if he tries to charge you. take it to a independent dealer and get a report done on what has happened to saw, the cost to fix and sue him for the repairs. if you goes to court with the facts the judge will award it to you he will not have a leg to stand on.

I think the bloke is feeding you absolute BS, stihl make chain to fit husky, so the bar wouldn't need grinding, I have never heard of the internals of a bar being ground out
