chimney sweeping help!

hi all, need some advice in knowing whether or not we need our chimney swept.

 

it was put in a couple of years ago including a lining and is only a small closed logburner with about 1ft3 of space inside.

 

its had two winters use and i would like to know if it needs to be done yearly, never or whenever really...

 

 

any help very much appreciated...

Got a set of rods with a disc a worm for the drains and a brush or sweep for chimney 20 yrs back I put em up every autumn before I start log burner up never had a problem. If you don't mind getting mucky DIY , as for the drains that really is a mucky business!

Same as you . Do it myself one a year , now in fact !

Harry mate just make sure you give it a good going over till nothing's coming down , I've also got a open fire yrs back made the fatal mistake of not covering opening , bloody place looked like a bomb had gone off ,missus threatened divorce , white staffy went black I got a cough!.
