funding options

hi guys looking to do my cs38 cs39 and i cant afford to pay out that much to do the course so i just want to no if anyone has any idea on funding options i have im currently self employed in west wales area i really no how i go about getting it aswell all your help would be very great full:confused1:

hi check out the LANTRA site and look for Projects and then RDPE forsetry skills. This page should help. Also as your in Wales, if your a resident there, check the Welsh forestry commision.

No such thing as the welsh forestry commission now. The EA, CCW and FC are all one body called natural resources wales.

can they help rigger bear iv found out today i cant get funding through farming connect witch it total disaster i thought i could seen as my sister is married to a farmer but there is some sort of claws there that no leaves me with minimal options i really don't no where els to look now talk about the government trying to help small businesses its a joke if you ask me

i would like to do my cs30 31 but cost is in the £700 mark and just can not afford to do it at present. have thing like new boots for truck £450. if i could find funding so i could pay each month would help but can not find any funding.

government a joke they will not help as i work. and if i was unemployed would have to do courses they run eg IT how to work a PC what a joke.

if your small and trying to get going no help.

My brother found a firm who trained him for cs 38/9 ( he somehow wangled a free course at the local college for 30-31) and he sat down with the boss and explained that he wanted to set up on his own and did not want to take the mick. They both came to an agreement on the firm funding the courses And my brother committing to the firm for x amount of time it worked for all parties. I on the other hand found a cs instructor in my local pub and he trained me for £100 and some wood and I then paid my assessment fees. Guess we were both lucky but food for thought.
