Hi jon left at 8 this morning but my stepdads taken over for tonight

The temp site was full to bursting with 100 vans and other bits within 6 hours of opening. Just been upto the site to calm him down and ask if we can extend the site half again. Luckily as i know him and have shot with him and his son he agreed and the temp steam fair site can now hold 250 vans. Trouble is it means we have 250 vans worth of detritus to deal with next weds and then again at the end of the fair. Wish me luck folks, we're gonna bloody need it.

Will be with up there. May be a bit worse for wear but i'll be up there. Everything is locked down tighter than Auschwitz at the mo.

Why do you we have to put up with this?

 

Because the councils don't have enough money to chase & prosecute. They just want them gone, so the problem is not on their patch. The police either can't find them and or when they do, can't usually pin anything solid on them. Or it's, "We've found your £30,000 stolen caravan. But we can't impound it or get it back to you, as the people who stole it, have some of their relatives living in it."

 

And because the law's an ass when it comes to travellers.
