Hey, I have finally bit the bullet an bought a 550xp as my first ground saw. I was wondering if anyone has some advice about setting one up and running in.

Lets hope so. My old man has had 560 for about 6 months now and that gets some serious work ( a gallon a day) and that's been fine. Mine will be lucky to use a gallon a week so hopefully should be fine.

Don't run it in or leave it idling for a tankful or any of those thing . Hammer it from the off . Set the auto tune as per book and cut for England !

I didn't set my autotune by the book, just revved it up, works fine

Well it will set its self as soon as you bury it in some wood . I think it is constantly doing it ......
