No. Contact bus opperater had a conifer to do some time ago customer said it was not a busy stop so I decided to do them between buses. Turned out one every 5 mins but best of all bus opperater inspector lived next door to job only found out when he came home and stood talking to him and he kept raising his hand to bus drivers them found out what he did but he said he was off duty so all well.

Did a job at the end of last year with traffic management which included a bus stop in the coned off lane. The TM boys just put a bag over it and effectively cancelled it for the duration of the works. I thought they'd have to put up some sort of temporary bus stop, but apparently not. That was the TM company's choice though, not mine - that's why I get the proffessionals in to take care of that side of things, they have the answers to these questions.

I should imagine the bus stop hasn't anything to do with the company licensed to operate the route. The sight, pavement, road markings and actual structure probably belongs to the LA. They either put each route/collection of routes out to tender or asked for operators/tenders to cover a given area.

I'd contact the LA and either get them to contact the operator and inform the general public advance. Mind being a LA, exchange of information between them and the general public, will probably come as a new concept. Or just contact both and see what happens on the day.
