i prefer the spider over the lockjack i have been using it for a couple of months now and my new one that came last week now has some sand paper type stuff on the thumb bit which does seem a little better

Hi all. Used the spider jack until the clutch started to slip. Tried to get a new clutch but got the wrong one. It has a different clutch to the lock jack.

 

Have to say really liked the spider jack. Its a bit odd to use to start with but if you stick with it its will worth it... didn’t like the sand paper grip on it. As it rubbed on the metal work.

 

put a bit of wood on to replace the sand paper.
