husky 281 parts

i have 2 281 in shed for parts.....had 1 running for a while but not bothered to fix them up when i got a 395xp......will check tomorrow for you

There's a definite nack to starting them isn't there

 

I quite like my 181, not very fast cutting but keeps on pulling.

i was given a none running 281 that was sat outside for the last 10 years and ive managed to get it to run but im need of a clutch cover (side case and chain break ) other than the ones for sale in hong kong i cant find any , so does anyone know where sells them or if theres another husky model that fits ? many thanks

ha no i went there a while ago , i like huskys but i prefer the old school ones used to have a 288 and i was a cracking saw and wish id kept it cos now i need the parts ! , ive got a 372 xp which i love , so im determined to get this 281 running as i got given it so seems silly not to , i asked about that splitter today and hes gona let me know as hes sort of said yes to someone else but no moneys been exchanged yet so hes gona double check

The old school saws are good bro that I will 100% stand by ya on. My buddy does have 281 parts if your interested
