In a similar vein - I've repaired and run several Mcculloch strimmers and love them - in the case of these it's not the components at fault - opening them up all the problems stem from poor fitting - they seem to be put together by monkeys.

My dolmar420sc was cheaper than the web price for that new Mac & hopefully is better quality I reckon.

yes now your talking you have a good saw if it is anything like my 5105 you should be happy i have seven different sachs dolmars & dolmars and very happy with all of them

 

this mcculloch is ok it sounds nice and has cut everything i have wanted it too:thumbup:

 

and if any casings gets broken on it i can replace it with some of its nephews orange counterparts :lol:

Cos it does wonders for doggie longivity.

"Made by Husqvarna" could mean just about anything - as they have factories in lots of countries.
