I'm spewing, the Uni was my go to tool for SRT but when i was getting less than 10 months out of them financially it wasn't worth while. After trying the Hitch hiker i didn't get along with it to well, i'm happily flying a ZK2. But in my opinion the wear issue should have been addressed within a year of the Uni going to RE.

The Throwpod is not just a chunk of heavy rubber! Sorry - wanted the product to speak for itself and not have to continually defend it - but we need to clarify that there is more to it than meets the eye (excuse the pun)!

My apologies Tony, didnt mean to make it seem less than it is.

Is it not made out of rubber ? I could have swore that was what I read ?

My point was simply the uni barrel is a machined piece of aluminum, and the price is comparable to a molded mass produced throwweight, granted a little overpriced IMO, but still a very cool throwweight.

Didnt mean any derision,it was simply a comparison of two similarily priced items.

Thanks for that! It is a rubber composite....and the composition is expensive! (It's not depleted uranium!!) They have now landed in the US....literally yesterday! Take a look and let us know what you think!

I bet depleted uranium would make an awesom throw bag. It's quite a bit heavier than lead so you could make it smaller.

Excellent idea. Plus, if we use all the Uranium for throw weights, there'll be less for the Koreans, Chinese and other crazies.

👍😄

Well after bombing out of some 40m trees i decided that it gets rather hot but much better than a hitch. I found that with a lot of rope weight below you can run it in decent (slowly) without needing to use your hands.

What do you mean run it in decent without your hands dude?? ( I am already saving for mine....)
