Just found my 16inch bar for my old farm boss and was thinking i could use it on my 660, any thoughts

My thoughts - it will be fun for 5 minutes, just long enough for the weight to kick in and for you to realize it isn't really cutting any faster than a 346XP:thumbup:

Was told not to run less than 20" unless you change carb settings or something. Might be wrong just what I was told when I looked into it

i run mine on a 20" everyday in the woods cutting beech..... have had it on an 18" and it was an incredible saw.... so gutsy. i know of someone who uses a 16" on a 660 cutting oak. so should be fine....i never had to change any carb settings on the smaller bars.
