Monkey Puzzle uses??

We recently took down a large ish Monkey Puzzle. The butt log is about 5-6m long and 1-1.5m across, (not the one in the pic)

 

Anyone know if it's any good for milling or is it just firewood?

Tricky one - that is a good size - but not sure who would want to use the timber and what for....

Wood turners love it . especially if you can slice the blanks through where the branches shoot . It then leaves the best patterns when machined .

That's big enough to make a cracking dinner table, surely someone will take it millit and polish it up? What a conversation piece that would be!

Think I was reading in another thread on here that the two colours of wood (orange and white) shear off each other when milled...
