good article colin, i must confess i only just made the time to read it. i think a lot of people would benefit from going to the climbing comps.....i see a lot of attitude displayed such as "oh thats all very well but i bet they couldnt do the job for real". wether thats true or not is irrelevant as thats not what its about. ive competed once myself and intend to compete again just for the ongoing education and the challenge.

im hoping the competition section to this forum will be expanded on next year....unfortunately the forum didnt start till just before the last uk comp of the year so there hasnt been much coverage. hopefully next year will be a different story, and maybe we'll see some fresh faces from arbtalk giving it a shot!

That sounds cool Steve. We are looking to have climbing experiences/camps where World Champions such as Bernt Strasser, Mark Chisolm and Kia Martin would be sponsored to run training, provide advice and chill out with all you 'guys'. At the sametime we might run short seminars on VTA, Fungi etc to continue professional development. How would that sit with you folks?
