My dad has a husqy 135, its a great little saw. I recently did my cs30 with it.

 

Makita's arnt bad little saws that you can get for sub £200.

 

Incidently when i went to the shop to buy my dads husqy, i didnt get ask for my cs30 card.

nope iv rung the job center they wont pay a penny (Cut Backs) there words were take out a loan Yeah because i have the money to pay for one of them don't i pees me off cos there happy to pay jsa to ppl who spend it on drugs and drink but not some who wants to work

 

 

Should be easier if your on benefits as they'd foot most of the bill for the training.

 

Also i didn't think it was law to have cs unit to buy a saw? As you can get them at b&q and the like!

Tim is trying his hardest to find some work for me even if its helping to clear up and stuff like that but like he said can't let me loss with a chainsaw with no tickets and i totally agree with him last thing i want is him getting in ****

 

but i am trying my hardest to get my tickets CS30-31 then at least i can do some work with a saw i can use a saw but not that simple and i can take them apart clean and do things like carb rebuilds fitting new fuel lines chains and bars which a guess helps

No problem, i know of grants which you can apply for and pay back at a small monthly fee, but as i said before i will get the right information from the horses mouth lol

I agree about the 135 being good but a Husqy 135 is not a 'pro' saw so isn't affected by mail order selling restrictions from Stihl and Husqvarna. Anyway, you turned up to buy in person so the retailer was in a position to be satisfied that you were a competent user. :001_smile:

Did my cs32 with the 135's predecessor, good fun the little saws, 135 is a better design with the snap cover and plastic air filter!
