Here follows a video.

It's a 90ft twin stemmed Coast Redwood that had to be removed due to drain, footpath and kerb stone issues.

I did the free fall bits at the beginning then Saron Ward (Freelance climber, s.Ward on Arbtalk) did the branch rigging and got the tops off.

There are four phone lines behind the tree, hence the branch rigging.

I then did the stem rigging.

After that Rob The Mog came and lifted all the timber, complaining that I hadn't got the stems down in 15ft lengths and my gob cuts wasted timber:laugh1:.

Filming done with my GoPro in the tree and my iPhone from the ground.

All done in 1.5 easy days.:thumbup1:

Nice work. Why was it coming down? At least you had space for lowering. Could you not have felled the smaller of the 2 stems?

Nice vid mate. I think Henry could have let a couple of the bits run more. Especially the higher up as there can be a lot more movement. As you found out on a couple if bits.

Nice big tree there. As rich said your groundy could have let the Timber run out more. No reason for those logs to be stationary at all once you've cut them off. Couple of bits of thick ply on the path and he could have raced them down
