Coast Redwood dismantle.

Here follows a video.

 

It's a 90ft twin stemmed Coast Redwood that had to be removed due to drain, footpath and kerb stone issues.

I did the free fall bits at the beginning then Saron Ward (Freelance climber, s.Ward on Arbtalk) did the branch rigging and got the tops off.

There are four phone lines behind the tree, hence the branch rigging.

I then did the stem rigging.

After that Rob The Mog came and lifted all the timber, complaining that I hadn't got the stems down in 15ft lengths and my gob cuts wasted timber:laugh1:.

Filming done with my GoPro in the tree and my iPhone from the ground.

All done in 1.5 easy days.:thumbup1:
