Stolen Tracked Machine!

Reported stolen today. A GreenMech 1928 Safetrack stolen from trackside at Shenfield near Brentwood, Essex. This machine was delivered late last year in a very distinctive yellow colour (believed to be the only bright yellow one in the UK). It was fitted with a tracklock, and the owners felled trees around it and pulled a couple of wires but it was still taken. Keep your eyes open as it is a distinctive colour and very nearly new. will they be insured leaving them @ track side ?

Pass. But I bloody hope so - at £27K you cannot afford to loose it like that. The de-veg network is a close community so hopefully it will be found.

That's twice the price of a decent car! Don't suppose it was fitted with Tracker, Datatrack etc...? Understand if you'd rather not comment on that one.

I've known kit get stolen with all devices fitted except for large Alsation!

Fair comment. I suppose I was looking more at the chances or recovery than at prevention in the first place. But whatever - fingers crossed for getting it back.
