If you work on the highway, using signs, cones etc; you should have it anyway.

An interesting slant there my friend

If your employer is paying for the course & is paying your wages to attend the course to give you knowledge & accreditation that enables YOU to reasonably & dilegently perform your duties for your & others safety

Then be grateful Accept the course & then carry out your duties within the guidance that you have been trained & then you wont have a problem

Or you could refuse the course ,which is a resonable request & promptly pick up your P45

Your choice , ME Id be thankful to have a job with a good employer .

If you have the '8' and you set everything out correctly you have nothing to worry about (if something goes wrong.)

If you don’t have the '8' and your working on the highway and something does go wrong you'll be getting to know a lot of solicitors very well!
