True, but the point is still valid, all these "representative" polls are only representative of whoever was passing the person conducting the poll at the time or of whoever took the time to respond to a poll by telephone/email etc, so basically it may as well be made up

I don't think the tax payer should pay for anyones funeral, particularly when the family has the means to pay for it themselves, id have voted against it if asked......and I am not against thatcher at all.

 

As I said before, I suspect the same proportion of people would vote against the tax payer paying for any funeral...only difference is some fanatic has gone to the trouble on this occassion to get these 'stats'

As said 60% of the population said they disagreed with the tax payer funding the funeral.......... I wasn't asked,none of my family were asked,i don't know anyone that was asked???? how can it be 60% then?
