I would be very, very surprised if anyone commenting here Loved

Margret Thatcher Sean, that would definitely be perverse, but just becase there are some posting here that are not full of monosylabic hate dosent make them Thatcher lovers, I personaly feel that by the end of her premiership she had done marginaly more harm than good, but what the so-called lovers have been so eloquently pointing out is the shabby state the UK was in when she came to power and she made things much better, no one yet has said she put things RIGHT!

Love would be just the start. Adored and miss terribly more like. I have cried far more over MT (literally every day since her death) than I ever would princess Di. The public outpouring of grief when Diana died - that's how I feel about Margaret Thatcher. She was the last bastion. Where there is error - truth...

It was my preception that IB claimants rose/peaked, because the generally Socialist leaning DHSS employees informed UB claimants that they could get substantially more money on IB.

Plus word soon spread in the work-shy claiming community as to the key words or phrases to use in order to "tick the boxes" so as to qualify.

We are unfortunately very knowledgable about such matters here in N Ireland.

A broken toenail was virtually enough to ensure a successful claim for higher rate DLA, IF it caused one sufficient stress and aggravation and affected ones quality of life.

That is hopefully changing.

PS

A DLA cane is no longer sufficient, apparently one must need to walk with the aid of a crutch, from observations in our local town.

But sadly they are so much more difficult, than the DLA cane, to "twirl" in such acarefree stylish way

regards

marcus

My goodness, there must be some sort of therapy out there for you, i do remember back in the day when it was claimed that some people fantasized about Maggie but i just thought/hoped it was just a vicious rumor! apparently not, well i do hope you get over it soon, try to relax and try not to dwell too much on the utopia we lived in the 80/s, hope you get better soon love Sean x.
