I heard a guy on the radio the other day, he blamed Mrs T for him loosing his job, his house and his marriage failing, he's not worked for 30 years.

I think some people like to have an excuse for failing, its easier to fail than succeed and if you can blame someone else for your failure all the better.

I know that if it had not been for the changes that She brought about I would not have been able to run my own business and enjoy the life I do, so personally I'll glad she made the difficult decisions she did, OK I would not want to work down a mine or belong to a union, so I'm seeing things from my point of view, but its the only point of view I have.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
