The SWL IS a legal requirement on rigging kit.

 

The SWL should be on all items of rigging kit including ropes.

 

Safety factor for Ropes MBS Divided by 10

Textiles MBS Divided by 7

Metal MBS Divided by 5

I disagree on it being a legal requirement when the MBS or WLL is used - please can you tell me where in the legislation it is?

Sorry the SWL Is not required if there is a WLL.
