i have a 300tdi disco and its great for towing done a few little twicks to the turbo and fuel pump and it pulls like a train and on another note the old mans l200 can legaly only pull just over half the weight of my disco and it does greatin the woods with the big tyres i would go with green emblem as a personal choice :)

LPG eh? I had a 4 litre Jeep converted and had the following problems.

1; The tank only holds 80% of its capacity so 100 litre tank only holds.....well you get the idea.

2;You can end up like a smack head driving round endlessly searching for LPG, make sure there are plenty of garages near you! Petrol at 12 to 15 mpg is cripplingly expensive!

Aye i've been toying with idea as i saw a few l200 v6 lpg's and can't help noticing that lpg is roughly half the price of diesel at my local garage 2 miles from home. Then i noticed the towing cap and payload of the f150 in regards to pulling caravans and thought that would look smart with a chipbox and locker on the back and i bet it wouldn't bother too much towing the chipper either!!

nah mate, "never buy the first one you see" ringing in my ears. aye your right, couldn't figure out where to put my right arm. pretty decent nick for 2000 reg though, mechanical sound, wee bit of tin worm inside the drivers door at bottom but over all - no bad like. got a couple more to line up for a viewing.

just to let you know i bought a disco and that had lived near the sea for most of its life. had it for a while but had a few problems with it took it to garage and whole back end had rotted away. by salt air. was a total right off sold it to a guy i knew who could do the work himself but cost him over 2k just to fix the chassis so look at log book
