I have read a few things about airstreams being cold in winter?

I'm so torn between the airstreams and the pfanners!

Ahh good stuff. I am also in market for new boots!

Airstreams and zermatts are on my shortlist as well as tyrol fighters and the boot from Harkie!

It is not easy choice at these prices lol :D

no the tirols look a bit clunky to me, I think its the airstreams for me, nice looking, supportive, slimline, good grip good price etc

my work mate has tirols, they are a good hard boot, welted soles, look like they will last a very long time. Downside is they look like Forrest Gumps special shoes:laugh1:

Tirrols are agreat boot, especially if you spend all day on spikes. They do feel a bit like a ski boot though and driving in them takes some getting used too. They didn't last as long as my Airstreams and are a bit too big for small pruning. Tend to get stuck in tight crotches quite easily.
