I've been asked to carry out several weeks worth of non-stop chipping in a remote woodland requiring my tracked machine. This is basically a case of the land owner wanting thinned out brash chipped for future path substrate...

Theres no such thing a typical range. Everyone circumstances are diffrent, every job is diffrent, everyones setup are diffrent and therefore its not as simple as looking up a price. Only you know how much your worth and need to make/day thats the fun of being self employed.

personally id go down the route of hiring in someone elses machine. No point wearing out your machine when u can keep it good for wee easy jobs. id just try to make of the labour side of it.

Work out your costs and add plenty profit!!
