First salmon of the season !

A perfect silver bar!!... I'm very envious, have only spent a couple of days salmon fishing found it very hard only caught tiny par and browns lol!

Clean fish, was it liced? Fished the Tay for years on the scone palace and muir ton beats. Had some great days but the runs faded after the 98 storm and changed all the lies, work then got in the way I need to get back into it.

Funnily enough I was looking into an Alaskan trip recently.

What a beauty! Never had the opportunity to go for salmon, but absolutely love casting a fly! Mainly dry fly chalk streams down south here.
