Airstreams and Distel Gecko Spikes

So I have a pair Airstreams and Distel Gecko spikes with velco and the bottem and straps round the leg

 

The problem I finding is to get the spikes sitting in the heel to fit securely is there anyway I could Sand/Grind down the heel for the spikes to fit?

:might have got the wrong combo there mate i wear airstreams withs gekos (velcro top and leather bottoms) find them a really great combo , the airstreams have a small heel so you just have to make sure they are sitting right then tighten them up

 

 

 

your spikes should be sitting mid foot infront of the heel so dont go sanding anything just yet.

Same as. Work just fine together, no messing about required. Send em back and swap the straps around.

i also use Gex with Airstreams full velcro.....as said they have a small heal...i found that i had to just set them up right and i now find them a dream.....sort the heal strap first.

Its the geckos, the bottom velcro straps seem to come loose as i found it impossible to get them tight enough. This led to me not feeling safe in them so i sold them. Everyone on my firm had the same problem when they tried them too.

Id swap the spikes for leather bottom straps and velcro tops bud. Found this to be best and comfortable with the airstreams/spikes.

Same as above with the straps, Gustharts got me a set ofleather botom straps bolts to fit them. 10 min later i had spikes that felt safer and never shift back.

What a Idiot I am I do have the velco round the leg and the straps round the boot! I feel like a right plonka now!

If they still shift back try rapping the strap around the shank before doing them up, works for me.
