Hi All,

This could be stupid question of the evening! Basically I have always tried to stick to the rule, tied into two points whilst making cuts.

What do you guys do??

Depends what you feel comfortable with doing bro. If you think your going to slip or cant get your balance to make the cut, dont and get your secondary out. Always go with your first instinct...

Thanks guys!

Know a couple of old school guys, good climbers, but rely heavily on one line.

Just wanted to make sure I'm not being overly cautious! (If there is such a thing!)

I don't think that's possible in our game, whilst confidence brings speed it can also breeds contempt, short cuts, unsafe methods of working and usually accidents happen. I always double up and I probably use my wire flip line more than many do. Whilst I may not be the fastest I am confident in knowing I am safe in the tree.

Look after number 1 :thumbup1:

I know i shouldnt but i only use two points when im not im not comfortable, like right at the top or some extremity. Just being honest! Although i always have 2 when im chogging down a stem.

Thanks for the honest answers guys!

Yeah Deffo agree about two point when I'm up high! And as you say, I always use my flip line and Maine line with a doubled c-saver when chogging down, my friend shown me what happed to his flip line when his 039 decided to eat it :/!
