or work with a horse logger and preserve the soil a bit, then replant the site with some mixed native broadleaf!

 

biomass is a massive market now and pop is pretty worthless otherwise.

I know someone who will pay £22 a tonne for chips based tamworth. Supplies them to prisons and schools for burning. That's on a bulk purchase. Prefers 40tonne wagon if possible.

Have a feeling there's some sort of biomass facility at Avonmouth. A mate looked into hauling chip there with tractor & trailer, not sure what the outcome was. Will let you know if I can find out.

~1400 m3 plus, what breed of pop? Lombardy will be hard but hybrid would fly through the head. Altho if u could knock the lot over by hand before it was in leaf and winch it to whole tree chipper with smalls screen would be good fun!
