I was spoiled at the first company I worked for, we had Schliesings. When I went to another company, I should have checked the machines they had, Timberwolf. It was a real eye opener, suddenly life got ten times harder. I could barely contain my disappointment and frustration with the machines. I know if youve invested in a Timberwolf, it's your baby, your pride and joy, and you fail to see the shortfalls of it. And you have to live within your budgets and means.

FTR, I'm not wealthy, I don't have either...I have a tatty old Jensen and a Jo Beau. The only thing in their favour is that they are bought and paid for. I've learned that its easy to sit and slag off a machine, when someone else owns it and pays for it, it's a different deal when it's your own.

I know what you mean Andy, the last company I was with had 2 schliesings - an mx220 tracked and a 10" turntable (forgotten model number)

Got to be the best chippers ever. Luckily the company i'm with have jensens - i couldn't face going back to tw/entec!

Got to be Shleisling, we've two and can't fault them. Buy it while you can with the price of the new ones making them hard to buy, there may be fewer coming onto the second hand market over the next lot of years and a lot more of the less expensive other makes.
