Just keep an eye on the batteries, as they take 6 of the cell type. You can get them cheap too if you have a Home and Bargain type store nearby.

My lock is on the cage side of the trailer and I simply set it when I go in and turn it off when I move on to the next job. Some kids Knocked it the other day and it scared the S@*t out of them, but then again that might of been me armed with my Sandvik clearing axe responding to the alarm.

Let em know you have seen them. Take a reg no down, look at your insurance policy & lock up your chipper to your van. The last ting they want is to be caught as this drops down their earning potential (not to mention a slap from those they have learned from), if you get their reg no it may be a fake but it will give em hassle none the less!

Was asked to do this ages ago by a fella I worked for who had his trucks marked by idiots who can't earn a days wage by any other means! seamed to work though when we kept getting followed back to near the yard & I would jump out whilst parked in traffic & look at their reg no with pen & paper in hand.

Don't go scrapping with people though as you may get mistaken id ect.. Best of luck

You do not know the nomad people that live?? in Tiptree. More likely to push you in to the truck you have got out of. Tread carefully.
