Which saw?

Stihl MS660 or Husqy 395XP which would you buy and why?

395 XP defo. Had a 660 and the 395 is better.

Seriously though, my 660 worked well but broke very quickly. Stihl were beyond awful dealing with the warranty so I bought a 395xp and it seems to cut faster.

I also had a Stihl hedge cutter and when that broke under warranty they were useless.

I'll never buy another Stihl product.

Don't really think there is much difference between the 2 saws iv got a 660 great peace of kit but it gives me white fingers after using it for half a day

IMO

husqs i think the AV is better as i dont get white fingers with them so next time I would buy a 395

I can't fault my 660 great saw

And to be fair if u had a cut of with ever saw there would not be a big difference

I have used a 660, but not a 395, although I have a 385 (5cc smaller than a 660) and there isn't much in it, IMO the 660 feels bulkier and shakes more, I would personally go for the 395, but the 390 is cheaper, lighter and has a better chainbreak handle, so buy a 390!

Hi Jon. Which ever saw I opt for I will be going for the 30 inch bar.

I've only really used Stihl on occasion's I have used a Husqy.

I know what the spec's say but Husqy's feel as if they rev higher not bogging down as much as the Stihl.

At the mo' it seems the Husqy is edging it. I heard that Stihl is going to discontinue the 66 soon.
