Petzl and I think peltor make stickers for their lids, but I dont know what adhesive they use. (I'm Putting some Hi Vis reflective Petzl stickers on my Vertex and Husqy ground helmets)

I don't know why people claim that putting stickers on lids degrades the protection, on several sites I have worked on(as a Joiner) some form of sticker to say tou'd signed the safety book was compulsory, and they are the same material, same EN Number etc.

It's to do with the glue used in a sticker. Some will use a glue that will eat into the helmet and weaken the plastic.

Something along those lines. I've never really believed much on it. I do know that some don't like stickers as they can "hide" the hat making you less visible, and from a machine point of view a big white or orange or blue ball moving around is easier to spot amongst rubble or dirt piles.
