Thought I'd have a go at modding my multisaver into a pulleysaver. There's a spacer in the pinto and the retriever is made from a keyring and some throwline. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this but I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Neat, wouldn't have thought of doing that.... Mind you, I do love my multisaver....

Yeah, its a lovely simple piece of kit, and really useful. Everyone should get one, even if they already have a turtle-burger pulleysaver or a rope guide.

i dont understand why you would go back to using a Cambium saver over a pulley saver, to me it doesnt make sense. more friction and gets stuck more, with the silly ring on the end, limits the choice of position you place it.

Puller saver with big splice eye, rubber insert and Art postioner, with Art snap is the best by miles. i use the Yale mostly as it works way better than the pinto for retrieving. and the spark is old but still works good, just going into retirement haha. lol not really poor mans pulley saver but its homemade, save but beer money and use something that will make everyday that much better and easier.

Sweet man, they all look tidy, how do you rate the cocoon to the pinto, just curious never used a cocoon.

Ive always been a cambium saver man and used the odd pulley saver when on rec climbs, but dam it makes such a difference at work. Well excitable in the wet today but all my hitch needed was a slighter touch than what i gave it. I feel knowing you have 0% friction makes you super aware of where your ropes are routed as you dont want to loose any 0 friction. Will go through more cord but easy the wear on my rope. A sacrifice I will take :)

Cool did you make that yourself? Don't like the rings though but to each his own.
