Yeah, it doesn't look an ideal match to me, like Geoff said. It would be better to have something between them like a mallion. I used to use a ring to ring saver with a pulley and mallion attached to the little ring, worked a treat but wasn't adjustable length.

 

Yes, know what you mean, did try that with my cambium saver but my mallion was to big to fit through the pulley like 2mm to big, just my luck:rolleyes:

I would be concerned about squeezing the side cheeks of the pulley together also, get yourself a spacer petzl do them the plastic and cheep! :thumbup1:

 

Yes good point all the pintos have it. will get some when I get a small mallion :D

Something as a spacer between the pulley cheeks, and position the double fishermans at the prussic knot so there is no chance of the knot getting stuck when retrieving through the large maillon.

What about this as a suggestion. Sliding double fishermans onto a Pinto with spacer. Sliding fishermans will cinch down onto the pulley and MIGHT streamline the knot behind the pulley making it easier to retrieve (possibly!).
