Another glove thread (pun intended!!)

They have worn out from processing firewood and handling logs. I did look at the Strauss ones online but needed some for the next day so went to my local Arco. I liked the Wells Lamont ones Costco used to stock but have not seen them there for some time and they are the only UK stockist.

I think if you look at the Arco label properly you will see they are called "driving gloves".

Wouldn't want to drive in them (tractor maybe) but wouldn't expect them to logging gloves either.

Not overly defending them as I am disappointed that mine look similar after doing some logs with them on.

I like Briers gloves, they have some tough yet comfortable leather ones. Bit more pricey though.

work has been using the arco rubberised grippy ones for years and ok on price, do a decent while and ok. this last year we have been using the strauss version and they are god awful, the rubberised stuff literally falls off the gloves in a week and then its useless.

apparently we are ordering some strauss winter gloves now so will post up review against the tegera ones clarks sell once i get a pair.

would say in terms of cheap cheerful grippy gloves arco are better.
