Just thought i'd start a thread to see if anyone is having problems employing people at the moment. I thought everyone needed work at the moment but am stugling to find any ground workers. Thoughts welcome.

I'm based in Somerset, the problem i have is soon as i tell them it's manual labor they dont turn up. I'm glad i'm not the only one having problems staffing. I will put up an add, i think an arb stundent will be benificial.

What's the matter with people?!

I am sure a student would be glad of the work - if they're scared of a bit of manual labour they're better off on another course!

I know I did quite a few days for peanuts when I started just to get a foot in the door.

If I lived in Somerset and needed work I would grab the opportunity to get in even a day's labour - regardless of what it entailed.

Some people out there should remember that they are not selling themselves short but actually expanding their future employment potential.

It makes you :mad1:
