Eddiegts,

I understand these Valmet tractors were superbly engineered.

And from probably the best period of diesel engine production before "Euro Rules" kicked in & strangled efficient HP production.

Jeffery Boreland. from Marshalls Agric was saying (actually enthusaing) that the one Marshalls bought "out handled" the technically bigger newer NH that they also own.

This at the APF show where they had both working.

The loader is properly mounted to the rear axle, so very strong.

The only downside (from my perspective) is the small hard, but presumably supremely unburstable multi-ply rated tyres/wheels (cos I am in Moss)

PS

Depending on what clown of a Forces employee was driving the clutch COULD be knackered regardless of the low hours.

Regards

Marcus

Ive been thinking about selling my mog and buying a tractor is the 665 a good tractor? have any of you guys had one?

I have one. Great wee machine. Only downside is cost of pickup hitch kit as wont have one.

My tractor has winch on back and the loader on front which outlifts the bigger tractors on farm where I work.
