A couple of old pieces back in for some TLC, followed by a little experiment.

A tree house on top of a hollowed butt. The butt will have a small door carved in with a ladder inside to access the house. The house will be constructed from the heartwood removed. Will be continuing and updating as and when I get the chance. Paid jobs have to take priority.

Had a bit of time to mess about this afternoon and cut out the door and a little window. Need to level the base properly and then on to the house construction:biggrin:

Hey Alvin, thanks. Yes some creative milling with a borrowed Alaskan and some granberg ripping chain. I had to resort to stone age technology to move/roll the trunk each time I took a slice off.

I'm relieved to say it worked just as well as I'd hoped it would.
