Hi all.

I've just won this saw on ebay for the bargain price of 75 pounds.

Too good to be real?

I think so now I've got it for that price:confused1:

Can anyone please tell me if I've just got the bargain of a lifetime or do I need

my eyes tested/head looked at?

Much obliged.

HI SHAM im sorry mate but the best thing to do with that is put hammer into it do not use it jon

Make sure u report it on fleabay. The feckers need to be kicked off. Peoples lives are at risk by using this stuff. Dont think its just a couple of Del Boy types trying to make a buck or two...this is big business.

Thanks for the quick replys guys.

Luckily I havn't actually paid for the saw yet.

I bid £300 and won for that price which made the alarm bells ring.

So basically it's not even worth the £75 then?

O.K. As you have not paid for it nothing is lost . Tell fleabay you are not going to pay for it as you have been reliably informed it is a fake ( and one of many on there ) . If the seller starts an " un paid item " dispute you can do the "fake or counterfeit good " thing . If you get a neg from you can counter with a neg of your own stating fake goods . I don't think sellers are allowed to give a neg any more though . .

the link works but pictures dont open?

colour of the fake saw caught my eye first but looking at the over saw its a load of crap.

Even if you did pay you can still get your money back with paypal presume you paid with that, just as well you didnt rush & pay as soon as it ended like I often do :-(

Good luck on getting a real saw

A quick breakdown on what you have purchased - the bars are soft, the chain brake doesn't stop the chain immediately, the top casing melts around the sparl plug, the recoil pulley is made of a plastic resembling feta cheese, the anti vibration (AV) mounts pull out of position - the choke levers break.

Appart from that they make a good doorstop.....oh sorry, saw or did I get it right the first time:lol:

If the saw has been advertised as a genuine 395XP then you have a case, if it has been advertised as a fake, you will have a few problems in getting a resolution.

The saw is worth around £40 tbh - you can pick them up new for £75:thumbdown:
