Mine had to go back to the dealer today as it just wouldn't start.

It fires, cuts out, fires, splutters, backfires, fires, put throttle on, chain doesn't even budge, then cuts out. Usual checks done, only had 10-15 tanks through, not even had the slightest of knocks in the tree, i like to look after it.

Mine did that on the second day of use, sent it back to jonsie and sorted , been no problem since.

Did they fix it or get you a new one?

If they did fix it do you know what was the matter?

I stripped mine down yesterday and found that not all the husky low smoke is burning and a sticky residue was starting to build up on the exhaust.

I recon as with the 017 &018s making sure the exhaust is clean will be a good starting point if the 150s start to play as we all rack up the hours.

I noticed this today too. Bit of wd40 and a cloth shifted it easy enough.

I'm on stihl hp ultra. I did try and look at pulling the exhaust off to look at how its built and if it can be opened up. But I couldn't see any easy to access screws. Still put a hole in anyway. Only a 5mm one. May widen it if I feel I need a bit more. Seems a bit happier to pick the chain up from idle. Although the H screw was already all the way anti clockwise it seems I can't richen it any more. So I won't be going nuts with this mod.

All up to this point was done with the 150 on 10" b&c, some of the cuts were about 15" too

Do you have a picture of where you drilled the hole?
