Charge more or go bust I know firms who have smaller set up and 350pd and are fully booked ur going to run your self ragged by the end of the year

260.00 a day is a good price for me and for the hirer! I've worked hard for ten years and am lucky enough to not have any over heads with my equipment. Just got a few days spare between jobs untill spring and looking to fill these gaps!

Some people really do under charge! If I had lr chipper and I was climbing I'd be charging my self out at 250 a day at least!!

Depends on what vehicle it is your using, bearing in mind that included in the 260.00 I charge I can remove approx 6cubic metres of chip:thumbup:

Well surely, the more chip you can take away per load=more efficient=worth more? I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong in thinking that but that's how I would see it.

Exactly my point:biggrin: offering cost effective aboricultural services:thumbup:

Whenever, you put a price up on here, there will be people, who's opinions differ. Personally, I think that price for a van, 1 man and chipper is fine. If eveything's paid for you should be ok. Different matter if you have a van and chipper on finance, with business loans etc.
