Machinery haulage from Southern Ireland

Hi, does anyone have any contacts for hauliers or oversize pallet freight companies that run from Southern Ireland to the uk (Kent). I need a piece of machinery moving but don't have any time to collect it myself, it's nothing massive (diesel post peeler) but too big for a conventional pallet.

 

Any ideas??

Countrywide freight in Mallusk, Belfast might do it. They brought a chipper from the North east England and a micro digger from Kent for us last year. About £180 for each consignment. They might do the south as well.

used nolan transport wexford to bring back chipper from arborcut last year, found them good.

I have recently arranged shipment of a large item from the US to the UK via Transglobal Express:

It hasn't arrived yet, but so far the service has been exemplary. Easy to use on-line quote site, reasonable price, and I even got a courtesy call from them to check whether there were any special requirements after I'd booked it. Interparcel this is not! I think the largest on a standard quote was 2.4x1.8x1.2m.

Never used them but these UK hauliers - Driffield | J A Cox & Son Ltd Specialize in agricultural machinery and have contacts, should point you in right direction.

will it not go on over size pallet. I have some nearly 2 metres long they just charge you a bit more.

Well if he wants to quote me a price to collect machine and drop it down to Kent it would be appreciated. There will be a loader of some variety at each end so should be a pretty straight forward job.

When is he over there next??
