How can I keep the potato-beetles away from my garden?? They are attacking not only my potatoes but my aubergines!! They're killing me (and my vegies)!!

 

Cut up a few old tatties in half and place them near your crop they will soon be attracted to the cut ones then squish with index finger a thumb. wireworm is usually a problem with new veg plot areas which were grass before IME.:thumbup1:

Ne'er cast a clout 'til may is out. In the excitement to get the veg garden going these April and May frosts catch out the tender plants. A lot of tender plants should be seen twice in May. You can't outwit the seasons:001_smile:
