It's Wednesday Nige, and today's customer just rang to see if we're coming today.....07.33 she called, the bloody cheek of it.

I've had that before, first job I did for an elderly customer. I've since had another 5 jobs from her as I treated her the same as all my other customers and didn't get annoyed by it.

Wait till you've had 26 years of it Parker, it might annoy you then (-:

I used to sell and repair power tools and generators from a mobile unit, once the customers found my address they used to knock on my door at ungodly hours expecting me to go into the workshop and repair there drill at 11pm because they needed it Monday morning. In the end I packed the job in and did tree surgery because it became rediculous I never got a minute to myself and couldn't even relax on the toilet, then one of my neighbours grassed me to the council saying I was running a business from home

We used to supply a pizza shop in Wolverhampton years ago, they would call and order logs when they closed, some times 4am so you lot are having a lie in.

Fortunately we had an answerphone.

We do some times get folks call late Sunday evening about tree work and wanting to make appointments, the latest we have had is 10.20pm.
